Technology is constantly changing our world in new ways. Science isn't just a job, or profession. It's something we all have deep within us. As our bodies and our thoughts evolve, we accomplish new things and it's then that science begins to change what we know as life and what we wish to achieve. There are many science discoveries and modern technologies that have changed the world as we've known it. Just picture our older generations only years ago when they had no phones, no cars, or laptops with the Internet. When humans took science by the reigns and accomplished so much within decades, everyone and everything began to change for the better. It's these inventions and gadgets that we've created that serve as stepping stones to greater things.
Aside from what's happened in the past, how about what's going on now, and the many inventions, gizmo's and science that is altering the world today? Maybe these inventions are more subtle now that we're accustom to a quickly changing world, but they're still very present. Take into account what items we're evolving. Phones and computers like the Apple iPhone and the Apple iPad. Both very innovative creations that have sparked an electronic race between companies. Now that Apple has set the starting grounds, other businesses are trying to catch up with copycats and inventions of their own.
If you're still doubting science, you're probably thinking that the iPhone and iPad aren't significant when you compare them to history with the creation of the phone, the car, etc. You might even be willing to take these claims furthers and say that technology just isn't growing like it used to be, we're not creating life changing devices like we did several generations ago. Wrong, thinking science is slowing is far from what it's actually doing. Just take the latest production, the 3D HD flat screen television which are now pencil thin, and compare those to older television produced just years ago. The same goes for a bluray disc and a regular DVD. While these might seem tiny on the large scale, they're actually progressing science along fast and we'll reach bigger things quicker than we know it. These inventions might not be drastic enough for you, but consider them as once again, stepping stones for the future.
Our scientists are always hard at work and in fact, they have already found new discoveries that would change society as much as the car or computer did. However, with any great discovery there are always concerns. What is the most dominant concern that inventors face today? There's no disagreeing that it's money and business. Consider that money has the power to put an invention into stores quicker because if there's profit potential, there's production. However, sometimes the world isn't ready for things immediately. One excellent comparison is electric vehicles. Despite the fact we've made them, tested them, and are starting to sell them, not everyone is buying them. Making consumers buy something isn't as quick as you may think. First, consumers analyze it with what they have. They find the sound of a gas vehicle appealing, while electric has no meanness to it. This is most definitely a con, but one consumers will have to come to accept if we plan to save the world from our own destruction. Take into account that science might have to evolve and produce a grittier sounding motor and that's when consumers will catch on and the electric car will really begin to sell. No one knows for sure, but it's definite that science is progressing far more than it even was when the television and phone was invented. We're now going beyond what boundaries we had in place and we're going further than we had imagined. Take space travel for example and imagine the potential that we have in space. What's going on in science right now is what's going to make the technology that will launch us into space for good. Allow us to reach out to new planets and potentially find life on other worlds. It's nearly impossible for us to imagine making these discoveries at the moment, but don't put it out of our reach. These movements in space wouldn't just alter what we do in our usual life, but it would also change how we interact, what beliefs we have, and just about everything.
